Hello CoinAdster!
I’ve tweaked a few things on the website, polished the design (there's still some work ahead of me), and added the Interests feature. Now I want to remove Memberships – firstly, it’s an unused feature, and secondly, I want to simplify the site.
Starting today, it will no longer be possible to purchase Memberships. If you have Membership days in your Achievements, activate them – by August 1st, the Achievements will also be changed.
As of today, the referral commission from offers/surveys is increased from 5% to 10% for everyone. At the same time, removing Memberships paves the way for smaller bonuses for all users.
The Interests feature – users have been writing to me about this for a long time, and I always resisted it. I finally added it, and there's a simple reason: I could have just raised rewards by 10% without it hurting me much. However, this new feature makes much more sense to me. You can earn a little extra from your Bits without actually working. At the same time, some people might deposit a few Bits, put them into Interests, and generate a small profit, similar to claiming on a faucet.
Moreover, it gives the site better stability. During times when crypto is booming, many users who use our site as a wallet log in all at once, leaving their old Bits lying around, and start withdrawing massively. I then have to swap cryptocurrencies even when it might not be advantageous for me, cancel stakings, etc. So, I see that 8% (interest rate) as a good trade-off for minimizing this issue, and it's an additional feature for users.
It's possible that, considering legal matters, we might rename it to "Staking," and some adjustments might be made in the future – e.g., a 30-day lock – 6%, a 90-day lock – 7%, a 300-day lock – 9%. But if I were to do something like that, I would of course inform you in advance, and it would only apply to new locks.
Plans for the future:
- Add more offerwalls.
- The faucet will no longer be the main page; it will be in the menu, and everyone can open it. However, I don't want to present CoinAdster as just a faucet, as that limits me with advertisers. This change will allow me to get direct advertisers and maybe even increase rewards for the faucet or other parts of the site.
- Add more crypto options – for withdrawals and, over time, for deposits.
In the future, I'd like to try to partner with a crypto project and launch an airdrop or some better-paid tasks in that partner cryptocurrency. It's time to slowly move beyond just a faucet and shortlinks to something more interesting.
Take care!
